About Us
I GO CHOP was founded to give people a fresh insight into Nigerian culture.
The food, the art and the people are some of the wonderful elements that we’ve chosen to put on display through this platform. Our goal is to promote and celebrate black African excellence whilst encouraging people from all backgrounds and ethnicities to join the party. And what better invite is there than great food?
Where can you find us?
We found our first home in Camberwell, a richly diverse community in the heart of South East London.
It’s full of life and bubbling with creativity so we knew we would fit right in. We’re keen on spreading our love for Nigerian culture so keep your eyes peeled, we may be in a location near you sooner than you think!

His passion for crafting unique customer experiences have been used to build various businesses from the ground up and now his latest venture ‘I Go Chop’ sees him paying homage to his heritage.
New Ownership
Terry Igharoro is a serial entrepreneur, author and speaker
Terry took over 1 October 2019 and has been working hard with the I Go Chop team to deliver the type of excellence the brand was built on. When he decided to buy the brand he did so knowing that his mum and aunty would be leading the kitchen team to bring that home cooked authentic Nigerian taste to the table with the family’s signature egusi, asaro (yam porridge)and beans recipes. He is committed to carrying on the mission started by Tobi to bring Nigerian food to the mainstream by delivering value and excellent service to all customers.
